When we arrive to meet you
On arrival one of our team will appraise the vehicle and give it a quick test drive. Once completed they will look through the paperwork.
You will then need to provide your bank details to us so that we can make your payment. This will be a direct bank transfer into your account which is immediate (no admin fees or hidden charges). We will then provide you with an invoice to prove we have purchased your car along with a copy of proof of payment.

Why is my value subject to inspection?
Our valuers need to ensure that the online description matches the actual details and condition of the car. The guide price provided on this website does not constitute a contract. The details, condition and exact specification must be confirmed before we offer to purchase your car. We may find your car is actually worth more than we’ve offered online, or may find it’s worth less – therefore it’s important to be as accurate as possible on submission of the online process.
Why do you need my email address and phone number?
We are different to other car buying companies in that we do not offer an automated valuation on submission of your details online. Therefore, we require your email address and telephone number to contact you to inform you of the valuation of your vehicle.
My car has a private registration, will you buy it?
Yes, you will need to fill out a V317 application to transfer or retain a vehicle registration number. This form can be downloaded from the DVLA website or collected from any Post Office. The completed form and appropriate fee should be sent to DVLA. We can still buy your car whilst this process is taking place.
My car is an insurance write-off, will you buy it?
Yes. We keep our process to submit your details very simple so don’t actually ask for this information in the early stages of submitting your details. Please inform us via phone call or email so that we can give you an accurate price.
What happens if I have outstanding finance on my car?
We will settle any outstanding finance on your vehicle as part of the transaction. Due to “Data Protection” laws you will have to obtain your settlement figure in writing on our behalf. If you prefer to settle the finance yourself we will need written confirmation of payment from your finance company prior to us paying for your car. If you owe more on your finance than the sale price we have offered, you will need to pay us the shortfall by debit card when we purchase your car.
What do I do with my road tax?
We will inform DVLA of the change of keeper online that will generate a road tax refund from them.
How will I be paid?
We will pay you by BACS bank transfer. You will receive a confirmation of payment via Online Banking. We never offer cash for cars due to money laundering regulations.
How long will payment take?
The payment will usually be in your account within 1-2 hours via Fast Banking Payment.
Can I sell a deceased persons car?
Yes, you do not need to transfer the vehicle into your name. We will however, require proof that you are authorised to sell the vehicle in question. This could be a legal letter proving that you are either the executor of the will or the next of kin. If you’re unsure of what to do then we will personally guide you every step of the way.
